It is a very pricey place in Dallas. Five star, three diamond place. It was originally some fellows overdone mansion. Now part of an upscale hotel. They have a website showing the menu. http://www.mansiononturtlecreek.com/dine1.cfm The chef is Dean Fearing, he has several good cookbooks on modern southwestern cuisine. I understand the quality is down a bit from ten years ago, just not as cutting edge as it used to be. The general feel I get is that it is still a place to experience.
It is a place for small plate, multi-course meals with the accent on southwestern flavors in a refined atmosphere. I'm just a foodie who likes these kind of places.
It may not be for everyone, the Star Canyon has a great menu from what I've heard, at a better price. See you in Dallas, Doug
