I agree with Leigh. The ends do not justify the means. Our courts are not a sausage factory - they are there to assure our rights are protected, particularly with respect to our rights in real property.
It may be the case that the vast majority of those in foreclosure deserve to lose their homes. However, if we just assume that is the case, how long before someone who has complied with the terms of their mortgage are foreclosed on wrongly? We have already seen some instances where banks have foreclosed on the wrong home - if we do not hold the lenders and their lawyers to established legal procedure these people could get caught up in the sausage grinder.
