This site sure did help me!  I finally got all of my money from Smitty Strickland at Blue Granite.  He actually told me I was not very nice to post on SOT!  Can you believe it!  I have been an independent for 13 years, and I have only lost $55, and I let that go because I was so tired of dealing with the client, who was an attorney by the way.  I will be more careful in the future when asked by another abstractor to complete work.  I work for attorneys only!  You can make them pay!
