This reminds me of a quote from one of my favorite movies, Lost & Found, with David Spade and Sophie Marceau. Dylan (David Spade's character) is negotiating with a jeweler to buy a diamond to replace the one from his best friend's engagement ring that he had lost. He gets pretty beat up on the price and then this exchange...
Dylan: I'll need it by tomorrow.
Jeweler: That will cost extra.
Dylan: And isn't it great how that works out for you. 'Cause it really could have gone either way.
That is one of my favorite movie lines of all time... mostly because we can all relate to it so well.
