We provide all copies of recorded  maps:  the original (re)subdivison maps, parcel maps, assessment district maps & lot line survey maps

We also provide copies of filed maps:  current assessors parcel maps, deadfiled (past) assessors parcel maps, and corner surveys, as available.

Finally, a direct link to YahooMaps, GoogleMaps, MapQuest, Zillow, Thomas Bros., and the local city web page are often included for the client's own reference.

Ultimately, a surveyor would be the person to hire to answer lot line legitimacy issues if they cannot read a map themselves, but at least we've provided a range of reference maps with the documents which run from easy-to-understand navigational websites, to real estate overviews, to satellite images, to record histories.

We are always happy to explain our research methodology in writing, but educating someone on how to read a map (something that they should have learned in grade school geography and math classes) is not in our services.
