You are right Amy, we were just asking for copies of mortgages or maybe an assignment and the fastest we ever got anything back was 5 business days, of course, our clients gave us 10 business days, but we weren't doing current owners, full searches, etc.. just good old document retrieval!

The only other State that we had problems in was Texas, 220 counties and some very very bum fudge ones where there was only 1 abstractor covering 5 or 6 counties and needless to say we'd get the deed of trust we requested after 9 business days.
