I have a fix. =)

Dismantle all nukes except our Subs, we have enough firepower alone in Subs to assure MAD. Start throwing up Nuke plants around the Country.

Second, I haven't seen any strip malls going up in Death Valley recently, lets take some of those lazy inmates and put them to work building a solar farm out in the sand, let's say 100 miles by 100 miles wide. That should cover the energy cost of about half the US.

Third, last I checked, no one is surfing 1000 yards off the shores, so lets throw up some Wind farms.

Like I said it's about money though.
