It would also be nice if we can keep the gas companies from killing the residents by poisoning their drinking water.  There's always an increased danger to the environment when outsiders are brought in to do work like this, because they tend to care less about whatever mess is left behind.

No doubt that this is helping Pennsylvania's economy compared to other areas, though.
