I didn't see anything humorous in your post because I don't find anything particularly funny about other people's misfortune.  I do realize that it sometimes does help to vent a little, in fact I've even done a little of that on here from time to time.  That said, I'd much rather help you find a solution to your problem than join you in your misery.

In any case, I'm glad to hear that things have picked up for you and I do admire your perseverence.  You know your situation better than anyone, so keep plugging, but don't be afraid to do a little course correction along the way.
