It is not just the bank lawyers and unauthorized employees signing papers, it is the filing and recording companies.
In California, a non-judicial foreclosure state, the recording firms (Pasion Title and Title Court Services and SPL in many counties) receive unsigned emails that their independent contractors print, sign and record on the same days.
The banks send the forms to a title company, the title company sends the forms to their contracted recording agency (one of the above firms), and this firm has their independent contractors in the field print and sign the legal notices which the same contractor then files at the public records agency.
Really, these news reports are passing along the same info that does not go deep enough into the bank incompetence in these matters.
Hell, 152 homes in East Palo Alto had one independent contractor sign for all of them on a single day. REALLY. THIS IS NOT MADE-UP "conspiracy" type crap, but real, true things happening, but everyone seem oblivious to it in the media.
