Nice post Scott. 30 more days will hopefully provide a referrendum on the current politicians. I have come to personally believe that Obama is actually the best thing to happen to our Country in a long time. It has shown us what damages liberal dreamers and academic intellectuals  can inflict in less than 2 years. It's shown America that the progressive socialist ideology is nothing more than mental masturbation and cannot work in this Country. Take it to France or Greece or another entitlement rich Country and it works... wait it doesn't work there either, but I digress, just take it somewhere else.

We used to be a Country that survived and were brought up on our laurels, but now it's a what's in it for me attitude. Selling ourselves out one step at a time. A little concession here, a little corner cut there, a little bit more and more and eventually we've given away the farm. We'll see what November brings. I know I'm being an optimist but I say "massive and sweeping" change. Shock and Awe type change.

In my own neck of the woods, Kucinich is facing a defeat for the first time in a long time, well since be bankrupted our City, then moved on to the National platform to try there.
