Just to clarify something, I didn't have an up to the minute grasp on his situation. My book keeper sends me the recievables report from Quick books every day and then I tell her who she needs to call if there are outstanding invoices.I rarely ever spoke with Ken, maybe once every 6-8 months.

I stay on top of my recievables no matter who owes me money. I lost plenty of money between 2003 and 2006 and then I got smart about it.

And I won't take on a new client unless they provide me with references (which I check) and bank information and D and B.. I figure its a 2 ways street on this.
