Don't know Florida law at all but I would guess that the court dismissed this after finding some fault with the f/c sale or documents. . Check for court orders after the issuance of your certificate of title. Was the f/c dismissed with prejudice or without?   This really sounds like a case of the court taking corrective action against the foreclosure attorney.  Given that you are in Florida, that's my first guess.
