I appreciate the thought behind this, Nils, but in all my years on internet forums, I have never seen the kind of restraint you are talking about happen  :-)  I think the reason for this is that there's a widespread sense that if this kind of over-the-line commentary is left standing without a response, it could be misinterpreted as tolerance or acceptance.

If the kind of comments that we saw from this certain individual persisted for too long or became too disruptive, we'll take action on our end, so I don't think that tantrums like we have seen will ever become too much of a problem here.

Anyway, whether folks choose to respond or choose to ignore, we appreciate the sentiments and support of the people like yourself who contribute here.
