SOT has seriously saved us numerous times from deadbeats and it's provided us with targeted advertising that's gotten us solid, reliable relationships with clients.  As soon as a new potential client calls, I'm on here and Watchdog (often while still on the phone discussing pricing) looking into the validity of this client and their pay history.  If I've found derogatory information (maybe a single post), I'll question the new client further and explain why I'm asking certain questions.  I understand it's possible to overlook paying one person and maybe we aren't getting the whole story.  If there are multiple posting from numerous abstractors, I politely decline working with them and do not send our pricing. 

I'm not sure what late-breaking news or info you could want that isn't here.  Independents have posted about using new technology to help cut costs and be competitive with the off-shore.  There are bloggers posting about what's happening in their areas.
