YES!
Now that's the way I do it too! If it's online, then save the client the cost and get it free or cheaper. If it's not online, then get you're researchers a camera and get free digital pics. THAT is the definition of staying competitive by lowering costs for yourself and clients when others are still making expensive copies and sticking it to the customer.
It's funny, but some of the old schoolers like us who adapt to the changing times by adopting new technology are still in business, while others of our generations have fallen by the wayside as knowledgable dinosaurs whom the world passed by. We're still knowledgable, but we're savvy too. Book smarts needs to meet business smarts in this day and age.
