We got this email from a vendor manager posing these questions to his clients:

WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO YOU WITH REGARD TO ABSTRACTORS?

HOW IMPORTANT IS COMPLETE AND FRIENDLY COMMUNICATION FROM YOUR ABSTRACTORS?

WHAT MOST IMPRESSES YOU ABOUT A COMPLETED SEARCH?
 

My first reaction was to reply sardonically - these questions are ripe for smart answers, especially that first one and we really got some hearty laughs out of it.  But really, if you have to ask how important complete & friendly communication is, you'd better read a Business Basics or rather, Life Basics manual.  Does anyone NOT consider it essential in any part of life?

For the last one, I would like to say I'm impressed when a searcher uses at least 3 fonts, in violet, sunny yellow and fuchsia and I think we could really use some clip art - preferably jaunty winking smileys, unicorns and butterflies. 

Guess I resorted to my first reaction there...
