The one I like is the request to handle a recording the next day.  "We're not funded yet so please call us from the registry for the go ahead".  You tell them when you will be there and that you will be leaving at a certain time to head for another county.  They say, "okay that is great".

You call from the courthouse the next day, "are you funded yet so we can record?.  They say, "no, not yet, can you hang around and keep calling us back"?   We tell them, " it is going to be tomorrow then as we are heading out".  They say, "but we need you to hang around until we are funded."  Yeah, like I am going to go into a court room and watch the fun for the rest of the afternoon.

We finally get their okay to do it the next morning if they are funded.  Then the inevitable happens... no funding and guess what.... the funding finally comes through 2 days later and they don't like it because we wil record it when we are in that county "this afternoon" not first thing this morning.

This happens 3 more  times and they tell me if we don't "hang around" in the future they will go elsewhere.... I say "Thank you".
