Just to clarify, we do try to work out same day filings, and we will "wait around" for a reasonable time or try to schedule our day to coincide with the arrival of the package if they give us advance notice of the filing.  Generally, for a same day filing we charge an extra $25 if we are able to accomodate them.

The problem here was that the client didn't call until about 10:30 on the day they wanted it done and we just didn't have anyone available to do it.
