[-] Subscription/Enhanced Listing Redux - Robert Franco/OH (1 reply)
12/7/2009 10:04:35 AM (4233 views)

Today I received an instant message, but I wasn't logged in at the time and the author did not identify himself.  Thus, I don't know to whom I should reply.  The person has apparently "been a member of Source of Title for a long time and has an enhanced listing," yet "cannot read the articles."  So, to recap how our premium services works...

We offer two paid services, Subscriptions and Enhanced Listings, each are sold separately.

Subscriptions:  Allow full access to the content on Source of Title - including all of the listings in the directory and the articles.  Without a subscription, users are limited to the free content on Source of Title: forums, blogs, the enhanced listings in the directory, and select articles. (price: $199/year)

Enhanced Listings:  Provide more exposure for the companies listed in our directory.  Enhanced listings appear above the free listings, in bold, and are accessible by all of our registered users (as opposed to only subscribers).  (prices start at $99/year, depending on the number of counties you cover)

They are sold separately because many of those who desire subscriptions do not have company listings or have decided they do not need the benefits the enhanced listing provides.  Or, a company may wish to take advantage of the marketing benefits of the enhanced listing, but does not need to search the directory or wish to keep up on the industry news.

By way of example, a vendor manager may wish to have a subscription in order to quickly and easily locate abstractors, but does not have authorization to make advertising decisions for their company.  Sometimes, employees who do not make advertising decisions for their employer, may wish to purchase a subscription to read our premium news content.

For small independently owned business, it makes sense to have both a subscription and an enhanced listing.  Of course, the Source of Title directory is the best place to market your business.  It is searched more than 8,000 times each month on average and without an enhanced listing, only subscribers have access to your contact information.  Companies with enhanced listings are viewed an average of 8 times more often than those with free listings!

And, every owner should keep up on what is going on in the industry.  Where else can you get daily title industry news for only $199/year?  Compare a subscription to The Title Report at $625/year.  The Title Report is a fine publication (and is offered in print and online), but may be unfordable for many of the smaller participants in the industry.

Take a look at some of the recent articles and decide for yourself.  The articles that are only available to our subscribers are indicated with "(subscription)" after the publication date.

Best,
Robert A. Franco
