Many companies are asking for a 24-month chain of title with their current owner searches. They don't need the previous owners searched, only the deed information to see whether or not there were any recent transfers that look like land-flips. When we do these, we only provide an abstract of the deed information, we do not run the previous owners in any of the indexes.
