I was at the courthouse this week and someone told me a rumor that may or may not be true or may not even apply to us independent contractors doing Current owner searches. "They" said that as of July 1, 2009 there was a new law stating that only realtors would be able to do CO searches. Realistically that seems infeasible because I can't see realtors taking the time to go into each county courthouse and do the research. Has anyone heard anything else even vaguely realted to this rumor? I work in Boise, ID.
