Hi Kevin, I just adopted a dog on Halloween from our local shelter here, who's people were moving & couldn't take her. She's a shepherd mix, 7 yo, spayed female. Being that her & I are both seniors, I only had to pay for her license. I had just lost my old dog, also from a shelter about 2 months before. I'm a believer in getting an animal from the shelter, they are the ones that need the most to be in a home. Poor things have no idea what they did to get stuck in a cement kennel behind closed doors. She's a very smart dog too, and learned quick the rules of the old lady in charge, a little chuckle here. Her name is Sissy.
