I envy you who got to go to one of the Tea Parties!  I can hardly wait until July 4....with everyone off work then (as opposed to April 15 being mid-week), I truly believe attendence will top 1 million.  It has been interesting educating people about what this is all about -- I keep hearing "but there hasn't BEEN  a tax increase!"  Which is true....so far....this is mostly about big government.  Being a card-carrying Libertarian, I have been screaming about big government all through the Clinton AND Bush administrations.  THIS IS NOT A PARTISAN ISSUE!  BOTH sides have been growing the government at a phenomenal rate and it's going to bring us all down.  Now with a President pushing us into socialism, it's just one more straw on the camel's back.

Anyway, not surprising to see other self-employed people involved in this.  I believe the small business owner is the true engine of this country.  

On that note, if you haven't read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand, you really must!  Don't let its length intimidate you.  It is a book whose messages will stay with you the rest of your life.
