Funny I stumbled upon this post... I've recently signed up as a member on this site because I'm job searching, having been recently let go after working for Continental Land Resources, LLC.  (It's not the same company at all as Continental Resources, Inc. BTW). 

They were a wonderful company to work for. Unfortunately the oil & gas business has gone downhill pretty quickly (at least in Appalachia) and they had to let go of all of the local contractors here, and send away the guys from OK.  I really enjoyed the "nasty" WV title work and was learning a lot from them.  It doesn't seem like anyone in oil & gas is hiring here right now.  A lot of landmen I've met the past few years are out of work.  Anyways, good luck with them.  I highly recommend them.
