[-] Holiday Cheer! - Dan Zook/NY (5 replies)

I love the holiday /Christmas season.  No doubt a big fight will develop over the use of "Holiday " vs. "Christmas", so be it - I still love this time of year.

I have always hand written all of our company holiday / Christmas cards myself and sent out big baskets of goodies to all our clients, even when I had to burn the midnight oil.  No baskets this year unfortunatly, we are broke, which makes the cards that much more important.  And yes, the cards say "Happy Holidays" on them so as to hopefully not offend anyone - just in case you want to bust my chestnuts ;-)

Now we have hundreds of customers.  A lot of the work we do may well be called "searching" with a smaller portion being refered to as "abstracting" and we are not overly particular about who we work for as long as they are reasonable business people that pay their bills.  We don't undercut our competition but we are not very high-brow about discounts either.  Our standards are high and our prices are reasonable.  Everyone gets a card, even if they only placed one order.

My point (finally) is - we have a TON of great clients, and I bet you do too!  We all have bad clients - or more appropriately bad "ex-clients" - that we banter about here, but in this season of giving I thought I would post something positive about all of our loyal, kind, understanding and proffessional clients - by far the vast majority.

I feel lucky and blessed this holiday season to have a great crew working here and hundreds of great clients that treat us right - and I truly hope you all do too.

Happy Holidays and/or Merry Christmas to all!!
