You're right, Clanci, they're on the ACS system, so most of the newer records are computerized.  They've also been back-scanning, although I'm not sure how far back they got before the flood.  If memory serves, I believe they have a duplicate set of records stored off-site for just such contingincies, as do most counties in these parts.
