Loretta, I know no words can make things better, but I am so proud you reached out for prayer. It is truly our most powerful weapon as believers. You inspired me. Because of your plea, not only am I going to pray for you and your family, but now I am praying for all abstractors who have Integrity, that we be rewarded for our persistence and loyalty. I think of a promise in the Bible that I claim every day, "No weapon formed against me will prosper!!" I've seen God work. He counts your every tear. Last year my husband and I both took jobs outside the title industry, and only in the past 7 months have I been able to get back to title work exclusively. I am not making anywhere near what I was, yet they say the housing bust has not affected Alabama as badly as other states. My husband remains a security guard, a vocation definitely NOT his calling! But the sun rises and sets on us all, and at least when this is all over, those of us with integrity and a heart for God will have learned good things. Those with no integrity will be revealed, and will be left with nothing to show for their struggles. God bless you, and all who give this industry a good name.
