Sen Obama did speak of his Grand Mothers death yesterday, I'm sure the guy would rather be there, but come on, he's running for President of the United States of America for christ sake!

When my Dad passed away a couple of years ago, I had no choice but to work, my father made sure that I went to work(btw he was a hard core Republican!). I did mange to complete my work for that day and made it to the hospital an hour before he died. I would  rather had been there, but like he and Rush would say "pull up your bootstraps" 

I guess that means I have no character or respect or I'm a left wing lune or some Repbulican talking-point bull shit like that.  Frankly I think it shows a strength that many of us just don't have.
