We also received the same email.  We thought it a bit odd that there was no phone number to call to actually speak with someone, if there was I must have overlooked it. It almost appeared to be a information collection service, and one in which we would pay to receive information along with providing them with our pertinent information. My first impression was negative, although I have not investigated it any further at this time nor do we know of anyone that has actually paid the required amount. Let us know if you find out anything more. It would be interesting to know exactly how much of the information they are offering is still valid and useful to our line of work.
