Timios, Inc. is privately owned and does not have a parent company that will jeopardize the success of the company. As many of you probably know LFC was owned by Mercury Companies, Inc. There are all kinds of articles out there regarding the sale of Mercury to Fidelity. The key is LFC was shut down as a direct result of the failure of Mercury.
Timios, Inc. is well funded and owned by management. The success of the company is not tied to the success of other sister companies. All of you know LFC was a very successful company, and the company never suffered losses even in the worst of markets. That said, we know the model and how to run the business, so we have every expectation to be around for a long time to come.
On a personal note, I was just as shocked as all of you when LFC closed their doors. I was not paid for accrued vacation and salary earned as well. I do however, hope to work with all of you going forward.
Sincerely,
Matthew Hall
