I appreciate your humility. I heard about this thread from another abstractor and decided to come visit and check it out, since LSI is one of my biggest clients. I concur with Jessica that communication with these guys is key. One of the problems there is that their vendor managment phone number is not always manned, not even by voice mail, and I have sometimes been frustrated by being bounced from one team member to another trying to get some communication going. (I've had that discussion with Mark Ramsey at some length).
But other than that, they have been a good company to do work for. Last year I also had some slow-pays with them, but we got it resolved through tracking down the right person up there to talk to, getting specific with her about what was due and how far back it went, and they resolved it rather quickly.
Hope you restore your previously good relationship with them. The market is so tough now, it's really painful to lose a major client.
