First, all state insurance departments are on high alert concerning this incident and so you may want to contact the state title insurance regulator just to get your message and contact info in there. Secondly, First America has regional offices - underwriting centers - that are likely the people on the ground trying to manage files in process. If I needed to go on record with this thing, I'd send a certified letter to First Am with a copy to the state - all return receipt requested. Build the paper trail and sending things that way will get some attention. It's too easy to ignore a phone call.
