Ed: I used it for the 2 weeks they gave me to try it out- it was a very good program , especially for the newbie or someone that has nothing to start out with- the forms are a little detailed, and allow for entry of just about everything one could ask for- sometimes it might be way too much input - but then they give you the option to do it, better than not .

I have been using my own data base created with MS Works for about 15 yrs now, and have almost 10,000 subdivision entries included with it- it seems to fit the need and all that for a one time price of $50 ( updates are needed every couple years, but they still are only $50) -The price of this program is $299 upfront and then a maintenance fee each year- which is good for the company, but not for you!!

I had to run through a number of trial data bases programs before I settled on what I now use- if this had been available back then I would have "jumped" on it.

Best of luck- oh, and I agree- the installation is extreme for this program- but once you make it through that part- it is easy- call up their tech support and they will assist, I am sure-I have never encountered such a lengthy installation process for any program to date- was kind of disappointing to say the least.
