I ran into this again today, and wanted to get an opinion on it.  I get all types of searches: current owners, 2- owner, 3- owners, 21 year, full, ect.  I try to have a price list of each of them. What I've been running into lately is companies ordering searches, but also requestind a certain amount of years with them. The amount of years keeps getting longer and longer.  I am now up to a current owner search which must include a min. of 3 years searched.  A lot of times these then run into 2 or more owners.  I am not opposed to a 24 month or current owner search for a set fee, but I feel if they want more than that the price should go up also.  I think eventually they will be asking for 5 years and still want to pay a current owner rate.  Is anyone else running into this?  How are you handling it?
