Sandra: Is it that the judgment and tax information is "not" available on the internet that they were requesting you to continue providing that info? And if that is the case- what impact would it have had if you had just said- "no thanks, we do the whole thing  or nothing!"- they would probably just get someone else-if there is a "someone else" - It seems like a number of companies are making this same kind of transition to doing it themselves- but there also seems to be some holes left if not done by an experienced title examiner- and that puts them in a situation that leaves their searches as "incomplete" unless they get the assistance from someone like you.
My opinion is just that if they elect to take away the major money portion of the title, they can have the lesser portion and deal with how they will acquire that information.
