Scott, That is the point I was getting at. Congress is just dragging their feet and using the excuse "that the oil companies have plenty of land that they are not drilling".  They would rather have the economy In the worst possible shape before the election In hope's they can blame it on the republicans. If we drill we will have lower or stable prices at the pump which will boost the economy and create many jobs , Not to mention we will not have to be buying oil from countries that hate us but love our money.
