I understand about trying to protect your interests, but honestly, didn't it strike you as odd that Joe wasn't returning your phone calls? Did you bother to try reaching Marcie or someone else in the company to find out why???

I get pretty offended when people post on SOT about companies that are great to work with and always pay their abstractors, and get mixed in with the companies who are true non-payers.

This is unfair and from my viewpoint an injustice. Did you notice the first person replied to your posting with a "Is there something we should know about this company?"

There many many decent companies out there who pay their abstractors, are easy to communicate with (like Reliable) and want to work things out if there is a problem. What I consider an ideal client.

I think you should apologize to them, your posting on SOT was incorrect.
