Does anyone have expierence using any of the
county online indexes??  Here in MI one
County (Calhoun) has just begun charging
to view the index and will sell copies online.

I thought that clerk had more respect for
her residents than to expose them to all
the pitfalls of posting info online.
I think the cost has been told to me
as being $ 5 to view the records, and
maybe even so much per page to view
the document online.  I thought they
were public records.
