That makes perfect sense now- If the clerks would provide complete records then it would work- you would not have to use outside examiners, but rather your regular ones- the ones that "know" the respective clerk's office. I do feel that a good working understanding of the clerk's office is just something that is a requirement in order to do the on-line searches- knowing what and where is important to be able to provide a complete search.
It seems there is very little support for on line searches from this site- but there are a tremendous number of companies and individuals that subscribe to the on line sites, so someone has to be liking them somewhere. They can't all be just getting copies and looking up tax/assessment information.
And they tend to be silent here also- might be the dissent that they are subjected to here too.
