Sorry, Steve.  I'm not quite understanding your distinction.  I was simply wanting to know from what date they begin to run names in the index.  Any answer that would be suffiently far back to find a lien that may attach to after-acquired property would have been correct.

Are you implying that checking a name in an index doesn't mean that you are looking for liens?  I don't understand.  Maybe you can provide an example.
