I don't see a problem with abstractors or companies advising of whom to stay away from based upon their experiences; asking for help with attempting to obtain updated contact information for a company that decides not to pay their bills is fine too.  However I do see a problem with negative, sometimes demeaning, postings that seem to attack someone individually when asking for advise or assistance.

I do agree with you that this forum can be and has been used as a great tool for many.  For example, you shared some of your marketing techniques; I'm sure numerous independents will employ your strategies and have success from doing so.

Although I think a more constructive approach to voicing your opinions regarding the forums occasional negativity should've been used.  I don't feel that telling people to stop whining and grow up is fitting; especially coming from someone that is so strong willed and wants to promote a positive atmosphere.
