Hey Charlie,

You are confusing federal liens with State liens.  The state has changes the duration of its liens a few times - its currently 15 years.  Federal Tax Liens are still 10 years, but you have to watch out for renewal and redemption periods.  Federal Judgment liens are 20 years.
