Franklin, PA (the one in Venango county--there are three other PA towns named Franklin, one in Cambria county, one in Chester county and one in Westmoreland county) was named after colonial patriot Benjamin Franklin (the name Franklin means "free man"). One would expect that the county seat of Franklin county, PA would be named Franklin, but oddly enough, it's Chambersburg.
I think you may be laboring under a misconception, F. Lee, as I am pretty sure that Steve is actually located in Franklin, TN (although it could be either the one in Williamson county or Davidson county).
Am I correct, Steve?
