This message is intended for all past Absolute Property Services, Inc vendors.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I am the owner of Absolute Property Services, Inc.  It has been brought to my attention that there has been discussion about my company on this web site.  I have gone through the postings and have found a great deal of incorrect information.  I have spoken to a great number of you personally but I would like to set the record straight about what the truth is so that the rest of you will understand.

Absolute was in business since 3-31-1998.  We had a great reputation with our customers and our vendors.  During the last couple years we were in business, we encountered problems with customers that would not pay.  We made several attempts to overcome these losses but as time went forward, we were faced with more escalating collection issues.  Rather than add to the collection problem, I decided to stop operations and pursue the collections full time.   Absolute ceased normal operations on 1-29-07. Since the closing, I have been attempting to collect on about $500,000.00 of outstanding invoices.  Only a fraction of this is owed to vendors.  I have not taken any of this money for myself, in fact I have been working exclusively on collections for Absolute and as the money comes in, I pay it directly to the abstractors.  Filing for bankruptcy is not an option for me.  I would like to do what is right and make every attempt to pay everyone.  In 2007 I paid nearly $100,000.00 to vendors and will continue to do so until I have exhausted every option possible to collect on these debts.

Since I came into this industry, I have had 382 customers who have not paid.  I have eaten my losses over the years but as the company grew to have 28 employees, the monthly balances with the customers grew.  We were processing a high volume of work each day; when a customer sends a high volume of work, their monthly balance can easily grow to tens of thousands of dollars. When a customer stiffs you for $40,000.00, it is very difficult to overcome.  When several of them do it in a short period of time, it becomes impossible.

There are several people who have taken advantage of people like you and me and have walked away with a ton of money.  I am not one of them. I would like nothing more than to be able to publish my so called “sh**  list” on line to prevent you from being taken advantage of as well, but for legal reasons I cannot do that.  If anyone has any questions about any of this, please email me directly at help@absprop1.com.

There have been several people that have intentionally said things that are not true in an attempt to slander my name.  I have dealt with those individuals through my attorneys office and taken legal action where necessary.  I would prefer a more constructive approach, so it is my hope that anyone who reads this letter acts in a professional manner and does not resort to juvenile tactics.  I hope that this truth gets shared with the members of this site.

Once again, feel free to email me directly with any questions to help@absprop1.com.

Thank you for your time,

Rob
