Robert, I have no idea why  2 reponses to this didn't post.

To your point, 'restructure' may not have been the correct word.  Consider Bertrum Settlements (TITLE) a Division that was under a lot of scrutiny.  I looked at the numbers, the local market, my contacts.... and I fully believe this is a business I can make flourish.

As we speak, cash flow IS good, Revenue IS good.... but do not confuse that with PROFIT.  I'm taking a big risk (WALLET) in running this DIVISION.

I simply need an Abstractor in a particular county.  I have the financials of this division in 'order' , have work ready for May and see no problem covering the needs of this Division based on my financial analysis.

I DO NOT KNOW the particulars regarding issues with The Bertrum Group other than what some people posted in the forum. I do not know the accuracy of the posts , nor the responses by The Bertrum group.  I can only speak of Bertrum Settlements, and specifically since April 1. 

I'm trying to revitalize a Title Company - and give Abstractors some work.  and yes, pay them on time.  My expectations of Abstactors should be similar to their expectations of me and Bertrum Settlements.  I truly believe in relationships of honesty and mutual respect.

I'm not pleased as to why I'm being grilled when I'm just trying to fulfill a dream of running a business. I will own this Title company some day.  I do not as yet.
