Sorry, Rob.  I just don't agree with your logic here.  I found it very ironic that you would knowingly post a solicitation for abstractors in the wrong forum, while there was still a fresh thread alleging that your company "does not pay."  Honestly, you did not expect someone to comment on that? 

You were boasting about "enjoying a very nice revenue, cash flow" while abstractors are complaining that they can't get your company to pay them. In my opinion, that was in very poor taste.  At least 4 abstractors this year have posted similar complaints. 

Your statement "WHERE DID YOU EVER SEE A NEGATIVE COMMENT ABOUT BERTRUM SETTLEMENTS?" is just ridiculous.  You have even admitted that it is the same entity.  Over the years we have seen many companies "go out of business" and re-emerge under a new name and claim that they are not responsible for all of the unpaid invoices that belong to the "old company."  I have not been been inconsistent in my view that such behavior is abhorrent.  What is the difference between that and what your company has done?  How can you really say "I'm not in charge of that division, but 'this division' has a stellar reputation?"  It's the same company!

I'm not trying to insult you personally... you may have just gotten stuck in a bad position trying to run a company that "was on the verge of bankruptcy," but that doesn't change the fact that there are problems.  I empathize with your situation, but I think that the Bertrum Group has some damage to repair.  The first step is getting the Bertrum vendors paid.  I hope you can do that and I wish you the best.
