Has anyone been confronted by this company, if so what has been your exerience?   They called me, told me they had work in the states that I cover and to register at their website because they had orders to send my way today, sounds great as usual doesn't it! Catch, they want me to PAY $.60-$6.00 to SUBMIT the abstracted information out on their website EVERY time I have to submit an order, also the registration requies to submit all you credit card information so they can deduct it as they need.
I went to their website and they claim to be insured by Lawyers Title and Old Republic Title.   Is this a new strategy for VM companies?  I feel very unconfortable submitting my company credit card information on my clients website as I am sure any abstractor would agree.  Website is www.valuamerica.com if you want to check it out.
