[-] Solicitation -- state of the industry & 2008 - MX/CO (6 replies)
1/16/2008 1:42:56 AM (2633 views)
Back on the board for the first time in a while and wanted to solicit viewpoints on the state of the industry.

I know some abstractors doing well but most where I live are holding on by their fingertips.

I personally have frequently made more in day or two days, easily, than I make in a week or sometimes two weeks.

Some of my biggest clients are like dry river beds or blown around tumbleweeds.

And there is the near daily legal paperwork mailed to me regarding Express Financial. And if that isn't bad enough, there are the extreme late payers and those who insist they paid you when they haven't.

A trying time for many, a drought, leaving me to wonder how many will survive.

All news articles I've seen for months are a reflection of my nosediving revenue and profits. And the news that I see doesn't leave much hope for the near future.

So, to all people much smarter than me, what is the outlook, in your experienced opinion, for the next 6-12 months, the next 1-3 years.

Wish you all well.
