If a company promises and promises to pay you, the owner takes money and opens up a steakhouse joint and closes up shop and uses your money to do it, I have every right to be p'oed right now. My best friend is out $17,000 and had to get a line of credit on her home to pay her bills.

I have been in this business for 12 years and have kept my mouth shut.
I have been clean and sober for 12 years, I volunteer weekly at the shelter and speak at recovery meetings on a weekly basis. I am very thankful for who and what I am now. I know where my deliverence came from.

What about Christmas? I have never, ever said anything bad about the holiday. Please don't make this a religious disagreement. My comment was what every working mother feels like when they work for 3 months and don't get a paycheck; they may be a little scared to say it out loud.

Almost everyone knows me on this board. I am a woman of passion and I am practical; right now I am a little bitter.

We will agree to disagree on this. My hope and prayer is that you never have to struggle like I have for the past 3 months to fight for payment.
